  • Minimum 2 years work experience in nursing
  • Specific and Scientific knowledge regarding Isolation and quarantine
  • Practical demonstration of the use of oxygen concentrators
  • Proper knowledge and experience of careful and safe patient transportation
  • Experience in ICU/CCU/Cardiac OT/Cath Lab will be preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, and work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Interpersonal/human skills
  • Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills; must be able to interact and communicate effectively not only with culturally diverse patients, but also with individuals at all levels of the institution, and with a high level of cultural sensitivity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service attitude and skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Must exhibit sound and accurate judgment
  • Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Asian University for Women (AUW), an independent international university with students drawn from 19 countries across Asia and Middle East with age range between 17-35 years, is looking for a female candidate with degree in nursing and at least two years of experience in nursing for the position of Staff Nurse. Staff Nurse plays an important role in the wellbeing of the students, staff and faculty of AUW. They are vital to the functions of the Health and Wellness Center (HWC) of AUW. They are responsible for managing the assessment, evaluation, maintenance, and improvement of the health care services for the students and AUW community. They will also help in promoting the prevention of illness and disability as well as early detection and correction of health problems. The incumbent works cooperatively with the other nursing staff, counseling staff and the consultant doctors in fulfilling the responsibilities.
