Job Grade: Senior Vice President (SVP)
Job description/Responsibilities:

1. Supervise overall activities of Islamic Banking Division.
2. Plan and formulate strategies to achieve business goals of Islamic Banking Division.
3. Ensure optimization of business of Islamic Banking Windows.
4. Conduct market survey of the Shariah based banking products, redesign new products and develop the existing products to penetrate the market.
5. Monitor and ensure all compliance related to issues of Islamic Banking as per Bangladesh Bank guidelines.
6. Maintain liaison with Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Bank to run business and operations smoothly.
7. Ensure delivery of annual business and financial goals and targets for Branches/Islamic Windows.
8. Guide the Branches/Islamic Windows and make sure that they have achieved their respective business targets.
9. Extending support to business units, CRM, CAD and other related divisions/departments to enhance the business of Islamic Banking.
10. Develop human resources capable to assume leadership of any Islamic Banking team.

Educational Qualification: Master’s in any discipline preferably in business background with good academic record. Certified Islamic Professional Accountant (CIPA), Certified Shariah Adviser and Auditor (CSAA) will be given preference.

Job Experience: Minimum 15 years’ of experience in financial industry (must have 5 years’ experience as Head of Islamic Banking in scheduled commercial banks). Must have sound Islamic investment risk and compliance management knowledge. Must have proper knowledge/experience in coordination with the Shariah Supervisory committee.
